As we reflect on another year of leading the way in the residential lighting space, there’s no doubt that 2015 was one for the books. Looking back, this year was marked by many “firsts” – from honorary awards to marketing initiatives to ground-breaking product introductions. We even made our debut on the DIY Network with our first ever TV commercial! We are humbled to have such a hard working team that has allowed us to meet so many exciting milestones this last year. And now, it’s time to celebrate! We invite you to join us in ringing in the New Year with a compilation of our most notable successes of 2015. Cheers!
After extensive research, analysis and development, we were pleased to unveil our new website to better serve prospects and customers. In addition to advanced capabilities and improved content, the website provides a better-quality viewing and interaction experience for visitors across a wide range of devices. Key features include responsive design technology, curated content and improved search functions.
We were excited to announce three rounds of product introductions in 2015 that occurred in winter, summer and fall – adding hundreds of new SKUs to our diverse product portfolio. Several of our new collections showcased advancements in LED technology to complete many beautiful, energy efficient lighting solutions. Additionally, the vintage electric trend made its mark on our new products with fixtures adorned with mixed metals, Edison bulbs and characteristic iron frameworks. Transitional designs stayed front running as many of our new collections represented a “blurring of lines” between modern and traditional forms.Progress Lighting receives Humanitarian Award
We were honored to accept Lighting One’s Humanitarian Award at the 2015 Lighting Convention Awards in Dallas as a recognition for our philanthropic efforts and commitment to making the world a better place. Through generous donations and acts of service, our team is proud to promote a culture of giving back. In addition to our connection with Hubbell Lighting’s Hubbell Foundation, Progress Lighting supports nationally recognized programs that serve our country’s heroes, including Operation Finally Home, Wounded Warriors and Home for our Troops. We also use our expertise in the home improvement industry to serve others through the funding of local projects fronted by organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and the Boy Scouts of America.
2015 marked the launch of our first television commercial on the DIY Network. DIY Network is considered America’s top how-to destination for projects and advice on upgrading home environments. The network directly speaks to homeowners and maker enthusiasts of every skill level – and we were excited to serve as a lighting resource for this uniquely engaged audience through a 30-second commercial and a special “DIY Download” on how to install a bath lighting fixture.
At this year’s International Builders’ Show, we were proud to put our best foot forward with One Hubbell. Representatives from Progress Lighting, Chance, Dual Lite, Raco and Hubbell Wiring Devices came together to present a uniform approach to lighting solutions. This strategic alliance resulted in many purposeful conversations surrounding the One Hubbell mission. We appreciated the opportunity to connect with new and existing partners while sharing how to create seamless lighting, electrical and automation solutions using the expertise that Hubbell has to offer.Progress Lighting surpasses 50,000 fans on Facebook
