As 2015 nears its close, we look forward to the new and exciting opportunities that are ahead. As we press on in our quest to provide our customers with today’s most innovative and beautiful fixture designs, we believe reflecting on past accomplishments can serve as a guide for future success. So, before we jump in to what’s coming this January, we want to share which products were among our customers’ most-loved. This year, we had the pleasure of unveiling hundreds of new products, as well as evolving some of our best-sellers to better meet the needs of our customers and partners. Now, it’s time to reveal which of these fixtures were the true “show-stoppers” of 2015.
- Here we recap our most popular – which are your favorites?
Whimsical in nature and true to it’s school house form, first up, is our Academy collection. Available in both a mini-pendant and standard pendant size, these fixtures add visual interest and are best displayed in groups of two or more. The clear seeded glass brings character and visual interest, while the Polished Chrome and Antique Bronze finish options add to this collection’s inherent versatility to conform to a variety of unique home styles.
Although a newcomer to our extensive design portfolio, the Archives collection proved to be anything but amateur in furthering the popular industrial trend that is hitting today’s most on-style residential interiors. Archives embraces the freedom for homeowners to mix and match differing metallic tones in single room settings. Brass accents and knob and strap details complete this fixture’s edgy personality.
A veteran to our list of lighting show-stoppers, Equinox’s characteristic orb shape continues to make its presence known among our most popular collections. And who could argue when confronted with such an eye-catching fixture design? Inspired by ancient armillary spheres, Equinox blends the lines between lighting and art.
A classic design updated with a new modern LED source in 2015, Fresnel joins the industrial design movement with a characteristic warehouse form, ideal for above island areas. The antique-inspired fresnel glass lens speaks to the collection’s industrial roots in both form and function.
Vintage electric tones swung into our product offering at the beginning of the year – and the Swing collection championed the cause. Ideal in room settings with our other 2015 sweethearts like Archives, Draper and Penn – Swing capitalizes on the industrial trend with mixed metals and classic, exposed Edison bulbs.
